We are currently reviewing and testing the pro-link chain lube with Metal Friction Reducer. This is a dry chain lubricant which repels moisture and prevents corrosion. It is also reported to repel dirt & mud, and be great in wet weather. You can use it on cables, and derailleurs as well. It is environmentally friendly and non-staining! Hi Stan: Thanks for your excellent service. I've applied the Prolink to the chain of my brand new Pinarello Opera within the past few days. No dramatic difference in ride quality, but I'm expecting the major advantage to be less grit in the chain and longer times between re-lubes. Both forms were easy to use. I like the spray because it covers the outer surface of the chain more easilly. On the other hand, it's a bit harder to control overspray from getting on frame and wheels.
